When we opened our business in 2001, we chose to become part of a nationwide franchise of digital printing companies.
The umbrella company provided us with the tools we needed to learn the business, getting us off to a running start.
It didn't take long, however, for us to realize that as a franchise operator, we had to abide by rules and procedures that came from a wide national viewpoint.
The longer we were in business, the more we learned about what clients need here in greater Rochester-and that perspective told us that it was time to take control.
