No appointment is necessary.
Walk-ins are welcome.
In accordance with Civil Code sections 1185(a), 1189, and Government Code section 8202, identity is established if the notary public is presented with satisfactory evidence of the signer's identity.
Necessary paper documents that can fulfill this requirement are listed below.
An inmate identification card issued by the California Department of Corrections if the inmate is in custody.
No appointment is necessary.
Walk-ins are welcome.
