Spartan's roots have been firmly planted in Arlington's Great Southwest Industrial District since 1963.
When the Trebilcock family purchased Spartan in 1985, the company provided blueprinting services to the Dallas/Fort Worth area, with eight employees in a 8500 sq.
As the company grew, we expanded our services by offering printing to direct customers and eventually to printing brokers.
A larger building was purchased in 1995 which provided 19,500 sq.
Spartan offers a range of press capabilities from small format 2-color up to 6-color UV printing on 40 press.

Every year the Printing and Imaging Association (PIA) presents awards to those companies who excel in quality printing.
Each printed piece is reviewed for the technical merit and quality of the print job.
If the piece is found to have no flaws, it receives an Award of Merit.
These pieces then compete for an Award of Excellence, Best of Category, and finally Best of Division.
Spartan continually strives to maintain quality craftsmanship on every printing project, whether it is a single business card or a full color catalog.

File Preparation

Fonts Because of the wide variation in fonts (i.e. one version of Times Roman may be different from another version), it is important to include all relevant font files when sending any print files other than pdf.
Don't forget, Type 1 fonts (or postscript fonts) have two pieces for each font style.
There should be a postscript font for each style (bold, italic, narrow, etc.) and a screen font for each which is usually inside a suitcase - which may contain several different styles for a particular type family.
