The Washington Print Club is a community dedicated to learning about prints and other works on paper; a place to share our interest in the visual arts; an opportunity to connect with others through museum tours, visits to artists' studios, and other programs.The Washington Print Club offers programs for our members that include curator-led exhibition tours, artist-led studio tours, visits to private collections, gallery openings, and more.

On Paper: Journal of the Washington Print Club, is published twice yearly. It features an array of informative articles, as well as exhibition reviews and announcements and commentary.

The Washington Print Club [WPC] was founded in 1964 by twelve collectors, business leaders, and museum professionals.
The WPC aims to nurture a greater understanding and appreciation of the variety of often complex and interwoven printmaking processes.
Moreover, prints and other works on paper often are more affordable and therefore a gateway for art lovers to build a collection.
The Washington Print Club welcomes print enthusiasts of all sorts-collectors, artists, scholars and students-to apply for membership.

Established in 2017, The Annual Young Printmakers Award recognizes artistic excellence by a student committed to printmaking, photography, the graphic arts, or other works on paper.
Students are selected on a rotating basis from local universities and colleges.

Robin Reisenfeld, curator, writer, educator, and expert on German expressionism.
Reisenfeld has some of the most varied experience from being a curator at MoMA to running the education department at Christie's Auction House.
This varied experience has kept the art of the past very alive in the present.
We will explore the legacy of German Expressionism in artists working today and how the process of printmaking has played an integral role in shaping their careers and aesthetics.
Print Month returns, with daily online programs at 12 Noon Eastern.

Membership in the Washington Print Club includes a subscription to our publication, On Paper: Journal of the Washington Print Club (formerly the Washington Print Club Quarterly).
On Paper is published twice a year, in the fall and spring, and features articles about Club activities and scholarly subjects.
It keeps members informed about exhibitions of works on paper in museums along the east coast, and about other matters of interest to print collectors and enthusiasts.
On Paper features prints by area and other artists on its cover.
