About Us
Report
Each HSS portfolio is made entirely by hand (our hands!) one piece at a time.
We use 100% archival materials, sourced from other small businesses whenever possible.
We like to collaborate with makers and designers to bring exceptional elements into the construction of each project.
At Hinged Strung Stitched, we have a penchant for unconventional, solution-based design.
We are personable and we provide friendly and prompt customer service.
If we can't help you with a project, we will connect you with a business that can.

If you have a particular material you want to incorporate, bring it to the table.
If you have an idea of purpose but no thoughts on design, let us create something appropriately beautiful that works perfectly for you.
Include any details that you already know: the type of binding, quantity, turnaround time, colors, materials or personalization preference.
Bookbinding Classes
Report
We will travel to your classroom to show your fifth-graders how to make a sturdy notebook, or we will invite you into our peaceful, intimate studio for a one-on-one lesson on traditional binding techniques.
Regardless of the project, you will depart with a deeper appreciation and broader knowledge of technical bookbinding.
You will also have at least one gorgeous, hand-bound book or box to show your friends and family.
Other class offerings and book structures are available, just get in touch and let us know what you would like to learn.
