1972-Robert (Bob) Walters Sr. began producing steel rule dies for printers in the basement of his home.
This new business soon became Madison Cutting Die.
As printers grew and the need for cutting dies grew, Bob saw the increasing need for die cutting.
He invested in a Thompson clamshell hand press and started running jobs along with making the dies.
Finding success with this model, Bob started renting space for his growing business.
1996-In the need for more space, Bob builds our current facility at 2547 Progress Road.

Embossing and Debossing
Report
Embossing is the process of raising an image and creating a three-dimensional look on a flat two-dimensional sheet of paper.
To accomplish this the press exerts enough pressure so that the counter die attached to the plate forces the stock into the relief die mounted on the toggle base, thus creating an image on the stock.
Although it is possible to perform this with a cold die, the operation is usually carried out with a heated die using temperature controlled heating plates.
Embossing and debossing elevates your brand to new heights.
