Walt Gutowski Sr., a first-generation American of Polish descent, founded Swift Printing in 1950. He built the business from a home-based shop to a Grand Rapids institution, working daily until his passing. His legacy of craftsmanship and community remains central to our values.

Former Owner
Walt Gutowski Jr. expanded the business into a thriving small enterprise while maintaining its family ethos. He served as a First Ward City Commissioner and leads the Bridge Street Band. Retired but still active in the community, he shaped our commitment to local impact.
Jessica Gutowski-Slaydon
President
Jessica Gutowski-Slaydon, third-generation leader, spearheaded B Corp certification and modernized operations. A West Michigan native, she serves on the Downtown Improvement District board and Cannon Township government. Drives our mission to merge business success with social responsibility.
