Murr's Quick Printing was established in 1980 and was located at the foot of Beall Avenue. Started by brothers Joe and Bob Murr, the small quick print shop soon became recognized as the place to go for speedy printing and friendly service in the Wooster area. In 1985, the Murr brothers bought the brick building on the northeast corner of E. North Street and N. Buckeye Street that had formerly housed Weitzel's Drycleaning, and moved their growing business into this location.
During the early 90's, Murr's Quick Printing had satellite offices in Orrville and Wooster's north end. It did not prove to be profitable to run a copy shop so close to the main operation downtown, so after a few years, those shops were closed. In 1997, Bob Murr moved to South Carolina and Joe Murr took over the operations. Forty years after opening, Joe maintains the original mission of the business while covering a territory which stretches out to a 50-mile radius of central Ohio.
