Arriving in 1982 from Cuba without a penny in their pockets, the Casaubon family, Pablo, Cristina, Luis, and Lisel were determined to succeed. Pablo and Cristina immediately started working at a local commercial printing company. To further provide an extra source of income, Pablo mowed lawns after his full-time job. The extra money he earned was used to fulfill their dream of opening their own print shop.
In December of 1986, after much hard work and dedication, the Casaubon family founded Rush American Printing in the garage of their home. However, Pablo and Cristina's main objective was to provide an education for their two young children. The small business was successful; customers were satisfied with the price, service, and quality. After four years of operating from their garage, the print shop moved to a commercial location.
Rush American Printing, Inc. has grown from a home-based business to a main competitor within the San Antonio metropolitan area. Over time, the company has evolved with technological changes in the printing industry.
