We're local and we care! Local businesses owned by people who live in this community are less likely to leave and are more invested in our area's future. On the northeast side of the San Jacinto Valley Arrow Printing has quietly been doing business at the same location since 1955. 62 years is something to be proud of in itself. However many people do not know that this little business has been in continuous operation and owned by one family for 89 years!
In 1928 (one year before the Great Depression), Roy Walker, an employee at the L.A. Stationers Corporation decided to start his own business. He rented a small storefront near the Coliseum in L.A. He worked 6-7 days a week building up a small forms business catering mainly to the auto industry. He and his wife Leona survived the great depression staying in operation through the tough times and by the time World War II had started his business had become a successful printing operation.
During the war Roy provided printing for the U.S. government to help the war effort.
