1955 - Bob & Betty Lowe made the decision to open Lowe's Letter Shop in a cramped downtown Minot office. With the acquisition of a small offset press, electric typewriter, paper cutter, and addressing equipment, they were off to a running start. Bob's many years of advertising experience and Betty's legal secretary skills provided a fresh, new, creative style of printing which found immediate acceptance.
1957 - Al Larson became a partner in the firm. The name was changed to Lowe and Larson Printing Inc. and the company moved to our present location at 129 Fifth Avenue NW. A large camera and another offset press were installed to accommodate the growing print demand.

Offset printing is the most economical method when producing large quantities of printed materials and provides a higher and more consistent quality of printing with sharper, cleaner, images and type.
This option is a commonly used printing technique where the image is transferred (or "offset") from a plate to a rubber blanket, then to the paper.
