Arte Printing & Design opened in 1992 in Montebello, California.
It began as a small "quick print" shop with just a handful of clients, two duplicators and two black & white copy machines occupying our floor.
Now, twenty-five years later, Arte Printing has expanded tremendously and is currently one of the longest-running printers in California, not to mention one of the last in Montebello that still does printing in-house!
We have one-, two- and four-color offset printing capabilities as well as digital printing, thanks to our newly-installed Konica Minolta high-speed black & white and color digital presses.

All print jobs are printed on large sheets (up to 28"x41"), meaning we print more than one piece at a time; rather than run only your job on the sheet, we fit as many other jobs as possible, to spread the costs of setting up the press, the plates, etc.

You may have seen a postcard or business card with a metallic foil logo on it; this has been foil-stamped.
This process requires making a metal "die" in the desired shape or design (imagine a rubber stamp, but made of metal) that is heated up and then presses a sheet of foil onto the printed item.
There are a wide variety of foils to achieve different effects: the most common are metallic foils, which are available in matte, glossy or textured finishes, as well as solid color foils and special effects foils, which can be used to give an item a pearl finished, or to apply a holographic watermark, for example.
