At the young age of 15, working in his parent's basement, Chris Gunderson registered the business name as he was hired by teachers and others to print custom shirts.
He felt it best to sound 'official' and wanted to get a check payable to an entity, so went on to learn about banking and assumed business names.
After playing with many simple names he wanted to sound big so thought all of Oregon had a ring to it but Oregon Screen Printing sounded too basic, so he relied upon the thesaurus to find a better word and settled up on Oregon Screen Impressions!
